ANNIE'S APPEAL

Annie came to us very ill suffering from cat flu. While the cat flu cleared up, her eyes did not and after sever rounds of eye ointment and antibiotics we took her to an eye specialist.

We were told she was blind in both eyes but the specialist felt she could operate and hopefully Annie might get some of her sight back, she could not guarantee success but we took the chance.

Annie had her operation and started a long process of drops , ointment steroids to help her along under Nurse Emer's eye. The vet told us the good news she had now some sight , she never would have full sight but she could see somewhat. She could not guarantee that Annie may go blind again.

Now several weeks after the operation Annie has sight how much she can see we will never know but she can see. You should see her follow a fly nothing passes her. While she was recovering she shared with Farah who just had kittens, it did not take Annie long to make friends and she helped Annie raise her little family which Farah was happy to let her. Today the two are in separable and will be homed together as if Annie's sight deteriorates Farah will be her eyes.

As you can imagine the bills are hefty but the results fantastic. You all were very helpful with 'Roxy's appeal' and hopefully you all will be as generous again

Thank you Leanne for restoring Annie's sight

Meet Roxy a beautiful gentle lady who is just a year old. Sadly Roxy was the victim of a hit and run and suffered serious leg injuries to her shoulder and elbow. She needed very extensive surgery to save her leg which thankfully was successful. The surgery was very expensive and with follow up care will cost us in the region of €2000. As our funds are low, if anyone can help us in donating towards 'Roxy's fund' please do. We will be updating her recovery as we go along.

If you wish to donate you can use the following methods
