Minkies Book Korner

In Memory of Queen Minkie Minkie's book korner is dedicated to Minkie, a very special lady, who in Minkie fashion decided it was time to trot over rainbow bridge. Mind all our friends who were waiting to welcome you, and be sure and remind them that, as on earth and now above, you are HRH Queen Minkie still. We speak often of you, shed a few tears but remember the fun of knowing and loving our special lady. Hello all you animals lovers out there. The GSPCA are delighted to add this new section to our web site so all you readers will be able to catch up on animal books that you may not know about. Another place to look for old and new books are the second hand book shops. In Galway we have little gems in Book Exchange and Charlie Byrnes always good for a snoop around. In these charming books about 15 I think at present, you will meet Joe Grey, Dulcie and Kit and their respective humans. The cats are feline detectives who help the local police solve crime and they also can talk. Seemingly ancient Irish folklore have talking cats and Welsh and Scottish as well. These books are captivating and will leave you impatient for the next one, indeed some people are reading the whole collection for a third time. In the coming weeks we will feature Lillian Jackson Braun, Rita Mae Brown and Sneakey pie Brown.
